Smart Goals

          The goal that I want to accomplish this year is that I would like to increase my GPA average by 14.46% of my original average that is currently 80.64%. To increase my grade on chemistry class and geometry/algebra class will help me get into a good school/college. I would also attend tutoring in order to gain more knowledge on the subjects that I am having difficulties on. By adding more information into my project will also increase my grades in class, also reviewing on my notes that I have done in class .I am considering going to a trade school or getting into City Tech College. I am an open-minded person so my pick on which college that I would want to go might change depending on my current grades, GPA average and the college offers. I plan to achieve my goals because I can and WILL become an engineer from the skills that I learn from either the school I pick.

which college am i best prepared for

The new york college of technology is the college that i am best prepared for.
the reading requirements are
SAT Critical Reading score of 480 or higher
ACT English score of 20 or higher
N.Y. State English Regents score of 75 or higher

the math requirements are
SAT Math score differs from college to college (see chart below)
ACT Math score of 21 or higher
N.Y. State Regents score of 75 or higher in one of the following:
Math A or Math B

Sequential 2 or Sequential 3

The cuny school that best fits me

The three colleges that fit my major skills for a future career are City Tech, CSI, and Hunter. I am more interested in the college called City Tech because I am mostly concentrate in engineering or computer technology. Although I would like to attend CSI, it is too far and the financial cost to get there is over my financial line. City Tech is the closest to my home and has more courses that I’m mostly focused on. In Hunter college doesn’t have enough curricular activities that I’m interested in.

My Realistic Jobs

My realistic job that I would want is being a farmer. The game called Harvest Moon have influenced me to look into farming. Farmers make money depending on the amount of produce they make take out the cost of utilities and food/nutrients for each acre of land or animals. In my opinion i think farmers are an important job because they are providing food to cities and other populated areas. The skills for farming is not easy just like learning from a book its most learned by immersion or in other words learning it hands on. Making mistakes as a farmer is very costly for it would lead to losing profit. The knowledge about agriculture is needed to know how to treat a plant and when to harvest a plant.
